Wheelchair accessible bike

This bike allows people who use wheelchairs to access cycling. With the support of a second person to pedal, both riders can enjoy cycling along the Strawberry Line Cycle Path and beyond. The make is Vanraam and the model a Veloplus3. The dimensions of the loader area are 75cm wide and 90cm (the wheel of a wheelchair would ned to fit within this). The maximum weight limit is 200kg. PLEASE NOTE AT PRESENT THERE ARE ACCESS ISSUES FOR SOME OF THE CYCLE PATH. AT SANDFORD USERS MAY NEED TO USE THE ROAD INSTEAD OF TRAVEL THROUGH THE BREAKERS AT THATCHER'S ORCHARDS. THIS ACCESS ISSUE HAS BEEN REPORTED TO SUSTRANS, THATCHERS AND NORTH SOMERSET COUNCIL, WE SEEK TO GET IT IMRPOVED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
